Applies principles of radiation protection. Evaluates radiographs and CT scans for technical quality. Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Provides patient care essential to radiographic / CT procedures. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures.Education:Minimum of an associate degree from an accredited school of x-ray technology or equivalent experience, bachelor's degree preferred.Licensure/Certification/Registration:Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Registration: (ARRT). Active/valid Oregon license. Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training and meets the requirement for registration by ARRT. Computed Tomography certification by ARRT required.CPR certification required.Experience:??1-5 years' experience preferred in both general radiography and CT.Prior travel experience preferred. Siemen's equipment experience preferred.?Specific Information:? Must be able to perform general radiography daily as needed, CT is the primary role.
